DRAWING COURSE (FOR BEGINNERS AND IMPROVERS)
DRAWING COURSE (WITH SOME PAINTING) STARTED ON FRIDAY 18TH JANUARY BUT LATE COMERS ARE WELCOME UNTIL 1ST FEBRUARY CLASS!
INCLUDES 10 WEEKS OF DRAWING, WITH SOME PAINTING EXERCISES, A DRAWING TRIP TO KENWOOD (WHEN THE WEATHER WARMS UP A BIT AT THE END OF THE COURSE) AND A CHANCE TO USE A WIDE RANGE OF MEDIA INCLUDING CHARCOAL, COLLAGE, PENS, INKS AND PASTELS.
THIS COURSE BUILDS ON FROM THEIR BEGINNERS COURSE ALTHOUGH YOU ARE STILL WELCOME TO COME IF YOU HAVE LITTLE OR NO DRAWING EXPERIENCE. IT WILL ENABLE YOU TO DEVELOP SKILLS USING A WIDE RANGE OF MEDIA AND TO FOCUS IN ON THE MEDIUM YOU PREFER. WITH YOUR TUTOR'S GUIDANCE, YOU WILL BEGIN TO DEVELOP YOUR OWN ARTISTIC STYLE.
THIS 10 WEEK FRIENDLY AND SUPPORTIVE COURSE IMPROVES YOUR DRAWING SKILLS THROUGH A SERIES OF TRIED AND TESTED DRAWING EXERCISES WHICH HELP YOU LEARN TO DRAW IN GREATER DETAIL. WE WILL BE WORKING FROM ELABORATE STILL- LIFE ARRANGEMENTS AND ALSO FROM OUR LIFE MODEL (4 SESSIONS).
THERE WILL ALSO BE 1 SESSION WORKING IN WATERCOLOURS.

Max's Foundation Chariy Quiz Night @ The Clissold Arms
Come and join us for this special event raising money to help fund research into the detection and treatment of hard to detect heart conditions in pre-adolescent children and to help support those families who are affected by these conditions.
Max's Foundation is a cause especially close to our hearts here at The Clissold and we are hoping to have a full house to support this event on 23rd MARCH! Please call or ask for more info - we would love to see you here!
We will have a guest quizmaster in for the night to pose all those tricky questions for you and will be serving a special menu for the evening. Prizes to the top teams, including a voucher for a meal here and much more!
